Air Freight Import Supervisor

Air Freight Import Supervisor required for a leading Logistics company based in Watford
Air Freight Import Supervisor MUST have experience in Air Freight Forwarding and Import.

Essential : IT literate real understanding of MS Windows, MS Office tools, Excel

The Package:

£35,000 – £40,000
Benefits package to be discussed
Hours : Monday to Friday – Business hours – 08:00 or 08:30 starts

Requirements & Responsibilities

To deal with all aspects of international airfreight movements
To act as a conduit between customers and suppliers to ensure all needs are met within the specified delivery time
Act as point of contact for customers, build new and maintain existing relationships
To liaise with overseas offices for shipment movements, taking responsibility for monitoring progress and keeping the customer advised of the status
To monitor flights and vessel arrival times and inform the customer of delays
To organise deliveries, be it with third party hauliers or our own drivers
To liaise with airport handling agents and warehouses upon cargo arrival
