Air Export Freight Forwarding Operator – Bradford | £30,000-£34,000 (DOE)
Full-time Permanent Monday – Friday

09:00 -17:00

We’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced Air Export Freight Forwarding Operator to join us in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in air freight forwarding who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Role Overview

As an Air Export Freight Forwarding Operator, you will manage the end-to-end air export process, ensuring shipments are arranged smoothly and efficiently from origin to destination. Your coordination and communication skills will be essential in delivering excellent service to our clients and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Air Export Operations

• Arrange and manage air freight exports from booking through to delivery
• Prepare and review export documentation including AWBs, commercial invoices, and packing lists
• Liaise with airlines, carriers, ground handling agents, and overseas partners

Client & Carrier Communication

• Provide regular shipment updates to clients
• Resolve any export or customs issues proactively
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and partners

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all shipments comply with international trade regulations and aviation security
• Process customs entries and coordinate with clearing agents
• Maintain up-to-date records in freight systems

Finance & Billing

• Create and send accurate invoices
• Check and verify supplier costs and charges
• Coordinate with the accounts team for billing queries

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in Air Export freight forwarding (essential)
• Strong knowledge of start to finish operations working for a freight forwarder for a minimum of 2 years.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Confident communication with overseas agents, clients, suppliers, and carriers
