Job summary

Wr Hvac is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join the team in the North West, covering mainly Cheshire. You will install split systems, manage refrigerant pipework, containment, testing and commissioning while leading installations with a junior engineer.

The role requires a valid F-Gas qualification, driving licence, and attention to detail with a focus on high quality workmanship. VRF/VRV experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing split air conditioning systems.
• Confident with refrigerant pipework, containment, pressure testing and commissioning.
• Able to lead installations independently while working alongside a junior engineer or apprentice.

Responsibilities

• Install split air conditioning systems including refrigerant pipework and containment.
• Lead installation works and coordinate with junior engineers.
• Complete commissioning and testing to high workmanship standards.

Job description

An established HVAC contractor based in Cheshire is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join its installation team, covering predominantly the North West.

The role focuses on the installation of split air conditioning systems, including refrigerant pipework, containment and associated installation works, with occasional VRF/VRV projects.

Requirements
Proven experience installing split air conditioning systems
Confident with refrigerant pipework, containment, pressure testing and commissioning
Able to lead installations independently while working alongside a junior engineer or apprentice
F-Gas qualification essential
VRF/VRV installation experience advantageous
NVQ Level 3 or completed apprenticeship preferred but not essential
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail, reliability and high standards of workmanship

Package
Up to 42,000 basic salary
Door-to-door paid travel
Overtime paid at 1.5x
Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am-2:30pm
