Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to maintain and repair VRV/VRF systems, heat pumps and related equipment in Preston. The role involves carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and occasional refrigeration work, with strict documentation and safety procedures.

We require City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 in AC or HVAC, F-Gas & ODS qualifications, and SC clearance. Benefits include extensive lifestyle programs and employee recognition initiatives.

Qualifications

• PPMs on air conditioning systems and reactive maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of installation designs and troubleshooting procedures.
• Documentation of inspections and remedial works must be accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) on air conditioning systems.
• You may also work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck or ice machines.
• Complete all work-related documentation and keep logs on inspection reports and remedial works.
