Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to manage and install chilled water and air conditioning systems in data centers. Strong experience with HVAC products and precision cooling equipment is needed, along with problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. This position offers traveling opportunities within the UK and Europe.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in controls would be beneficial.
• Good practical knowledge of chilled water and air conditioning systems including DX systems is essential.
• Ability to understand and edit electrical line drawings to as-built is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with precision cooling systems is a great advantage.
• Previous experience with various close control / precision cooling equipment in the data centre cooling industry is highly desirable.
• National & international travel may occasionally be required.

Experience / Skills Required:

• Experience with HVAC products, especially chillers, is a significant plus; an understanding of the data centre cooling marketplace is advantageous.
• Ability to foster an environment that encourages initiative, creativity, and teamwork.
• Problem-solving skills are essential.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to assume increased responsibility in the future.
