Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and commissioning on HVAC and cooling systems within datacenter environments.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, service, install, and commission refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems, particularly liquid cooling systems.
  • Provide precision cooling for data centers.
  • Lead and support on-site engineers, ensuring high standards.
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical components.
  • Manage and update asset records for contract execution.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as on-site technical lead.
  • Quote and deliver small projects and remedial works.
  • Submit clear and accurate engineering reports.

What We're Looking For:

  • F-Gas Certification (mandatory)
  • Experience with data centre HVAC systems and/or fluid cooling technologies
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills in mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently or in a team; mentoring junior engineers
  • Health & Safety tickets (PASMA, IPAF, etc.) are a bonus
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Hours:

  • Up to £45,000, including door-to-door travel pay
  • 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
  • 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
