Job Description:

PRS is currently recruiting for an Air Conditioning Engineer to look after a prestigious residential complex located in Battersea. As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will undertake maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment, including service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. The role offers a salary between £45,000 – £50,000, a company vehicle, and a fuel card.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM. Overtime is available, and there are excellent opportunities for career progression within the company, which values investing in its staff and promoting from within. The company offers stability, longevity, and career growth opportunities.

Duties:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, COSHH, etc.
  • Perform AC, AHU, and other mechanical PPM, proactive and reactive works as per helpdesk requests with relevant SLAs.
  • Ensure equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
  • Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of contracted equipment.
  • Maintain proactive client liaison, addressing concerns and relaying information to management.
  • Be aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
  • Provide asset information updates as part of the PPM process.
  • Assist with access for subcontractor servicing, callouts, and repairs.
  • Carry out commercial PPM reactive maintenance under contractual SLA.
  • Maintain HVAC plants.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Equivalent (minimum) in Air-conditioning and refrigeration.
  • Experience in Building Services or FM background.
  • Experience with VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and air handling units.
  • F Gas 2079/2089 qualified.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration.
  • Flexible, positive attitude and approach.
