Air Conditioning Engineer - Hertfordshire - £38,000-£40,000 Per Annum

Package Overview:

1. Basic Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience) + Overtime + On-Call Payments + Travel Pay
2. Full-Time, Permanent Position
3. Location: Watford
4. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
5. On-Call Rota Available

Our client is a well-established engineering firm seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Air Conditioning Engineer - Role and Responsibilities:

1. Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, and fault finding of air conditioning systems.
2. Identify and manage on-site risks, including critical spares and equipment performance.
3. Respond to reactive maintenance requests and liaise directly with clients to ensure a comfortable working environment.
4. Provide mechanical and electrical expertise across the site.
5. Work closely with the onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to resolve building services issues in a confident and professional manner.

Air Conditioning Engineer - Skills and Experience Required:

1. F-Gas City & Guilds Certification (Essential)
2. Strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair
3. Time-served or recognised mechanical/electrical apprenticeship
4. Confident in diagnosing faults and implementing solutions
5. Excellent communication and client-facing skills
