Job summary

GET Staff is seeking a fully qualified F Gas engineer to join a Wiltshire-based heating and plumbing business, focusing on domestic air conditioning installation, service and F Gas compliant works. The role is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm within a 20-mile radius of Trowbridge, with overtime available if wanted.

You will carry out leak checks, maintain high workmanship standards and deliver a polite, professional service to customers. A valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified F Gas engineer with a current F Gas certificate.
• Experience installing and servicing domestic air conditioning units.
• Proven ability to work within a 20-mile radius of Trowbridge.
• Polite, professional service with high standards of finish.

Responsibilities

• Install domestic air conditioning units within the defined radius.
• Service and maintain air conditioning systems.
• Carry out F Gas compliant works including leak checks and records.
• Deliver high workmanship, finish and customer service on every job.
• Hours Monday to Friday 8am–5pm; overtime available if wanted.
• Work within a 20-mile radius of the office.

F Gas / Air Conditioning Engineer – Trowbridge, Wiltshire – £40,000-£45,000 DOE

Pay: £40,000-£45,000 per year, depending on experience

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire (jobs within a 20-mile radius)

Permanent, full time

Our client is a well-established, family-run heating and plumbing business in Wiltshire. It has expanded into air conditioning and renewable technology, and demand for this work is growing. They are now adding a dedicated F Gas engineer to the team, mainly for domestic work.

Role and Responsibilities

• Install domestic air conditioning units, which will make up most of your work
• Service and maintain air conditioning systems
• Carry out F Gas compliant works, including leak checks and record keeping
• Deliver a high standard of workmanship, finish and quality on every job
• Provide a polite, professional service to customers
• Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with overtime available if wanted
• Work within a 20-mile radius of the office

Skills and Experience

• Fully qualified F Gas engineer, with a current F Gas certificate (essential)
