Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

Salary: £37,000 to £42,000 per annum DOE (plus Overtime)

A well-established, nationwide company based in Loughborough requires an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to start ASAP.

We are seeking an engineer with substantial knowledge of installing and working on air conditioning systems such as VRF/VRV multi-split and split systems for commercial clients including universities, hospitality, offices, retail, leisure, and residential projects nationwide.

The Role

• Complete installation of VRF/VRV, multi-split, and split systems including pipework, wiring, mounting, brazing, condensate management, etc.
• Install and work on a variety of air conditioning VRF/VRV and split systems, demonstrating experience and technical skill.
• Commission VRF/VRV, multi-split, and split air conditioning systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams and company directors daily.
• Manage on-site installation activities to ensure smooth delivery.
• Liaise with clients as needed to maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Follow all health and safety protocols and site-specific requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• High-quality workmanship and pride in your work.
• Confident in your abilities, flexible, and willing to work on various mechanical systems with training provided.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
• Electrical skills including reading wiring schematics and testing control circuits are advantageous.
• Full driving license.
• Willing to work away 2-4 nights per week depending on projects.
