Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: Sutton, Surrey (covering London, Greater London and the South of England)

Our client, established in 2003, provides specialist Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) service support to the commercial building maintenance sector. With a dedicated team of highly skilled mobile engineers, they deliver high-quality solutions across London, Greater London, and the South of England.

They are now seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile Multi-Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. This is a varied role involving planned and reactive maintenance, service, fault-finding, and small installation works across a range of commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of air conditioning systems.
  • Carry out installation works where required.
  • Undertake both independent and team-based work across commercial client sites.
  • Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate service reports and records.
  • Support the wider M&E team where needed.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum Level 2 F-Gas certification.
  • At least 5 years' experience in air conditioning engineering.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of both service and installation work.
  • Chiller knowledge (advantageous).
  • Exposure to M&E building services (desirable).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT and reporting skills.
  • Able to work independently with initiative as well as part of a small team.
  • Flexible approach to a variety of work.
  • Customer-facing with a professional manner.
  • Keen to develop skills and progress within the role.
