Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

Salary: £37,000 to £42,000 per annum DOE (plus Overtime)

A well-established, nationwide company based in Loughborough requires an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to start ASAP.

We are looking for an engineer with considerable knowledge of installing and working on air conditioning systems, such as VRF/VRV multi-split and split systems, for our commercial clients including Universities, hospitality, offices, retail, leisure, and residential projects nationwide.

The Role

• Complete installation of VRF/VRV, multi-split, and split systems including pipework, wiring, mounting, brazing, and condensate management.
• Install and commission VRF/VRV and split air conditioning systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams and company directors daily.
• Manage on-site installations to ensure smooth delivery.
• Communicate with clients to maintain stakeholder relationships when required.
• Follow all health & safety protocols and client-specific site requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, with F-Gas/EN 378 compliance.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Pride in quality workmanship.
• Confidence in own abilities.
• Flexible and willing to work on various mechanical systems; training provided if needed.
• Problem-solving skills with a positive attitude.
• Electrical competence, including reading wiring schematics and testing control circuits, is advantageous.
• Full driving license.
• Willing to work away 2-4 nights per week depending on projects.
