Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a supportive, ambitious team working on essential public sector buildings. You will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple sites and contribute to high standards of building services.

The role requires F-Gas certification and proven experience in commercial air conditioning and HVAC maintenance, with the ability to work independently across locations in the Manchester area.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Certification (essential).
• Proven experience in commercial air conditioning and HVAC maintenance.
• Strong understanding of building services maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on HVAC and AC systems across sites in Manchester.
• Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair split systems, VRVs/VRFs, AHUs, and FCUs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
• Support the technical services supervisor with minor works and projects.
• Respond to Help Desk requests and report to Service Managers as needed.
• Accurately complete job reports and documentation.
