Salary: 38k-40k plus package

Location: Company based in Luton

Job Description

We are seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing commercial air conditioning and ventilation systems, ensuring safety and comfort for our clients.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer
  • Must hold Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • Experience working in occupied premises
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • IT literate
  • Customer-focused approach

Main Duties
  • Perform maintenance, call-out response, and repairs on commercial air conditioning and ventilation systems
  • Understand general mechanical building services
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
  • Maintain PPM paperwork accurately
  • Identify opportunities for additional work
  • Complete all work documentation accurately and timely
  • Adhere to policies and safety procedures
  • Participate in training and appraisal activities
  • Perform additional duties as required
Working Hours and Conditions
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • 30 days holiday including bank holidays
  • On-call rota: 1 week in 6, out-of-hours call-outs paid at minimum 4 hours overtime
