Responsibilities

• Survey buildings for cooling system installation.
• Discuss requirements with customers.
• Install cooling systems.
• Run quality checks on systems.
• Diagnose and fix faults.
• Carry out planned maintenance.
• Follow Health & Safety practices on site.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and contract SLAs.

Overview

Due to growth we are currently recruiting for an Air Conditioning Engineer on behalf of a well-know and successful FM and HVAC contractor.

Operating over 10 years, they have over 200 members of staff working for them and multiple offices in the UK.

The role requires travel throughout the North of England and occasionally the rest of the UK. You will be involved with installations, routine maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on cooling systems e.g. commercial A/C & refrigeration equipment such as splits, multi splits, vrv/vrf, Heat Pumps, cold rooms and chillers. Working in buildings like supermarkets, offices, schools, hospitals and food processing plants etc. You will need the ability to follow technical instructions and an understanding of safe working practices.

This is a permanent position paying £40k – £45k per annum depending on experience. Perks include Van & Fuel Card. Private use of van is allowed. Plenty of overtime and weekend work available. They also have a bonus scheme. Pension. 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Training and Development opportunities.
