Job description

Air Conditioning Engineer - Central Belt - Salary up to £43,000
CBW are working with a leading provider of building services and facilities management, delivering high-quality maintenance solutions to a wide range of commercial clients across the region. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer to join their maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial air conditioning systems (e.g., VRV/VRF, split systems, AHUs, FCUs).
  • Diagnose and repair system faults in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations, health and safety guidelines, and relevant legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and site conditions.
  • Liaise with clients and site managers to provide updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs (if applicable).
  • Identify and report any issues or opportunities for system improvements or upgrades.

Requirements:
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
  • F-Gas certification (Category 1).
  • Proven experience in commercial air conditioning maintenance and repair.
  • Good knowledge of HVAC systems and building services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
