Job description

We have a great opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team in Southall

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with relevant qualifications.


The ideal candidate will be a motivated and ambitious individual willing to work as part of a small team.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest standards and Atlas competencies are delivered and demonstrated.
  • Deliver Portfolio M&E PPM and minor works.
  • Keep the Client, Customer, and Team informed through feedback and regular updates.
  • Contribute to delivering a quality service, aiming for 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support, advice, and guidance to the Customer and Team.
  • Ensure value for money for the Client by verifying resource and material suitability.
  • Report performance to your Area Manager.
  • Ensure safe delivery of all Atlas works, including those of service partners.
  • Produce details of time and materials required for minor works for quoting.
  • Liaise with Account Support, Supervisors, Managers, and Sub-Contractors to deliver work to high standards within SLA.
  • Build and foster relationships with the Client, Customer, and colleagues.
  • Update the Maximo system regularly via your tablet and ensure all time is recorded.
  • Take ownership of sites and deliver exceptional service.
  • Cover all call-out responsibilities out of hours when rostered.
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, and Training
  • NVQ Level 3 in the relevant trade.
  • Qualified Air Conditioning Engineer.
  • City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Regulations (Cat 1).
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Good understanding of modern office software.
  • Experience with asset/work management systems like MAXIMO / CAFM on Android tablets.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar environment, especially across multi-site and multi-discipline service delivery.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing outsourcing environment.
  • Background in mobile engineering/property maintenance.
