Job description

Air Conditioning Engineer required for our client, an established M&E contractor based in the Bristol area. They required an Air Conditioning Engineer to work throughout Bristol and the surrounding area.

The Air Conditioning Engineer will be working in a range of commercial sites, including; offices, retails stores, historical buildings and council properties. The Air Conditioning Engineer will be tasked with the service, maintenance and repairs of Air Conditioning units such as: VRV, VRF, Split and Multi Splits. It would be highly advantageous, if the engineer also has experience working on commercial refrigeration. The engineer must live in the Bristol area or within commutable distance.

You must hold your FGAS 2079, a full driving licence and you must have industry experience fault finding, maintaining and servicing Air Conditioning units.

Air Conditioning Engineer Position Requirements

• 5+ years' minimum experience in a similar position
• Experienced with maintenance, service & commissioning on Air Conditioning equipment
• Highly advantageous, to have experience working on commercial refrigeration
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Live within a commutable distance of Bristol

Air Conditioning Engineer Position Remuneration

• Basic Salary 40,000 to 45,000 depending on experience
• 40 Hour Working Week - 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Travel time - paid from door to door
• No on call rota
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Workplace pension scheme available after 6 months (auto enrolment) at 4%
