Job description

Air Conditioning Engineer

My client is seeking a talented Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team in a permanent role. They are one of the fastest growing companies in the Building Services industry with ambitious growth plans, making it an excellent opportunity to join the business.

Responsibilities:

1. Be customer-facing and assist supervisors on-site.
2. Visit client sites for scheduled planned maintenance and servicing.
3. Work on various air conditioning units including Split units, VRV's, VRF's, twin and multi-splits, chillers, and more.
4. Build and maintain relationships with clients on-site.
5. Perform reactive maintenance, fault finding, diagnosing, isolating, and repairing issues.
6. Update and maintain asset lists to ensure smooth contract operations.
7. Assist in quoting for remedial works and small projects.
8. Deliver remedial works and small projects.
9. Submit detailed engineering reports to facilitate clear communication with clients.
10. Demonstrate commitment to clients and uphold a strong work ethic.
11. Mentor and guide junior engineers.
12. Support the company in driving new business.
13. Occasionally stay on-site until the job is completed due to site requirements.
14. Carry out breakdown and repair jobs to high standards confidently.
15. Be a proactive problem solver.
16. Hold relevant qualifications, including an F-Gas certification. NVQ Level 2 is preferable but not essential. Additional tickets like PASMA or IPAF are advantageous.

Salary and Hours:

Up to £45,000 plus door-to-door travel paid. Working hours are 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
