Job description

Air Conditioning Engineer

We are seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer for our client, an established Air Conditioning Contractor based in Berkshire. The company specializes in Design, Installations, PPM, and Reactive Maintenance projects across various sectors including commercial, telecoms, data centres, health, education, and industrial.

Responsibilities

The engineer will perform service, maintenance, breakdown, and fault-finding tasks on air conditioning equipment such as VRVs, VRFs, splits, and multi-splits. The coverage area includes the M3 corridor, parts of the M4, and inside the M25, including TW and UB postcodes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the HVAC industry
• Recognized qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent (e.g., City and Guilds)
• F-Gas 2079 or Safe Handling of Refrigerants certification
• Full driving license
• Living within a commutable distance to the M3, including within the M25 with easy access to the M3 corridor

Salary and Benefits

• Basic salary: £40,000 to £46,000 depending on experience
