Job summary

Talent Solution Partners is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning / Electrical Engineer to support a portfolio of commercial sites across London and Milton Keynes.

The role is permanent and mobile, offering a basic salary of £48,000–£52,000 plus door-to-door travel. You will work 45 hours per week and receive a company van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• F-Gas and air conditioning/refrigeration qualifications required.
• Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding ability across HVAC and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Service, maintain and fault-find air conditioning systems.
• Work on VRV/VRF, split and multi-split systems and related HVAC plant.
• Diagnose and repair AC faults and breakdowns.
• Carry out electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Maintain lighting, power, distribution and related electrical systems.
• Attend reactive call-outs and update CAFM systems.
• Travel between London and Milton Keynes sites efficiently.

Air Conditioning / Electrical Engineer

Location: London & Milton Keynes

Salary: £48,000 – £52,000 + Door-to-Door Travel

Hours: 45 Hours Per Week

Position: Permanent, Mobile

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning / Electrical Engineer to join a growing building services team, covering a portfolio of commercial sites.

The majority of your work will be across London, with responsibility for one additional site in Milton Keynes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong multi-skilled engineer with experience across air conditioning and electrical building services. With a basic salary of £48,000 – £52,000 plus door-to-door travel, there is excellent earning potential available.

You'll be provided with a company van and fuel card, with responsibility for managing planned and reactive maintenance across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Service, maintain and fault-find on air conditioning systems
• Work on equipment including splits, multi-splits, VRV/VRF systems and associated HVAC plant
• Diagnose and repair AC faults and breakdowns
• Carry out electrical maintenance and fault finding
• Maintain lighting, power, distribution and associated electrical systems
• Carry out general M&E building services maintenance where required
• Attend reactive call-outs and resolve faults efficiently
• Complete maintenance reports and update CAFM systems
• Liaise professionally with clients and building managers
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with current regulations
• Manage your own workload and travel efficiently between sites

About You

We are looking for an engineer with a strong Air Conditioning background combined with good electrical knowledge and experience.

Ideally, you'll have:

• F-Gas qualification
• Relevant Air Conditioning/Refrigeration qualifications
• Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent
• Good electrical fault-finding ability
• Experience with VRV/VRF, split and multi-split systems
• Previous commercial building maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of HVAC and electrical building services
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
