About The Opportunity

• Outlier is seeking talented writers fluent in English to help train generative AI models.
• This is a reading and writing-intensive freelance opportunity that is remote and offers flexible hours, allowing you to work at your convenience.

Your contributions may include:

• Reading English texts to rank responses generated by AI models.
• Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, which may involve research and fact-checking.
• Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced texts.

Desired Expertise:

• Professional experience as a writer or editor.
• Currently enrolled in or having completed an associate degree or higher in a writing-related field from a reputable institution.
• Strong writing style, excellent English spelling and grammar, along with good logic and reasoning skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain the strengths and weaknesses of texts.

Payment Information:

• In the US, pay rates for core project work average around USD $15 per hour.
• UK: Estimated up to £11/hr
• Canada: Estimated up to $20 CAD/hr
• Rates vary based on expertise, skills, location, and project needs. Higher rates may be offered for PhDs. Additional phases like onboarding or overtime may have different rates. Incentives may also be available. Review each project's payment terms.
