Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking an experienced AI Workflow Development Engineer in the United Kingdom to design and deploy AI-powered applications that automate complex operational processes. The role focuses on LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI to reduce manual effort across exception handling, reporting and decision-support workflows.

You will collaborate with business and operations stakeholders to translate existing processes into scalable, production-ready AI-driven solutions and contribute to end-to-end

Qualifications

• Experience building AI/LLM-powered workflows and applications.
• Strong knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agentic AI concepts.
• Hands-on application development and workflow automation skills.
• Commercial experience with LangChain and AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered workflows for exception handling, triage, categorisation and decision support.
• Develop agents capable of processing data-quality issues and natural-language exceptions.
• Build automation for operational and reporting workflows.
• Develop natural-language matching and classification capabilities.
• Build both proof-of-concept and production-ready LLM applications.
• Collaborate with business and operations to translate manual processes into automated workflows.
• Support future use cases including rule interpretation and transformation logic.
• Contribute to code generation and automation tooling.
• Apply robust development practices for scalable AI-driven solutions.

Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3-4 days onsite per week

Contract: 12 months

Rate: Up to £520 per day, Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced AI Workflow Development Engineer to build AI-powered applications that automate complex operational processes.

The role will focus on using LLMs, RAG and agentic AI to reduce manual effort across exception handling, reporting, classification and decision-support workflows. You will work closely with business and operational stakeholders to understand existing processes and translate them into scalable AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered workflows for exception handling, triage, categorisation and decision support.
• Develop agents capable of processing data-quality issues and natural-language exceptions.
• Build automation for operational and reporting workflows.
• Develop natural-language matching and classification capabilities.
• Build both proof-of-concept and production-ready LLM applications.
• Work with business and operations stakeholders to translate manual processes and decision points into automated workflows.
• Support future use cases including rule interpretation, transformation logic and code generation
• Strong hands-on experience building AI/LLM applications, beyond model experimentation.
• Commercial experience with LangChain.
• Strong AWS experience.
• Proven experience implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions.
• Experience developing agentic AI/automated workflows.
• Strong application development and workflow automation skills.
