Job description

A major organisation is seeking a highly skilled AI Specialist - Automation & Integration to develop innovative solutions across business operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background and passion for using AI to streamline workflows, boost efficiency, and deliver measurable impact through advanced automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deploy AI-powered solutions that automate and enhance complex business processes. Collaborate closely with IT, engineering, and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Build intelligent automation pipelines using tools such as Python, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and n8n. Apply Large Language Models (LLMs) to real-world challenges like email triage, document parsing, and data enrichment. Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to power internal AI assistants with trusted business knowledge. Rapidly prototype and iterate on Proofs of Concept to test ideas and gather user feedback early. Use AI agents to automate repetitive, rule-based tasks across internal systems. Monitor the performance of deployed models, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver clear ROI. Document workflows and share learning across teams to support wider AI adoption. Stay current with developments in AI, automation, and machine learning tools and techniques.

What We’re Looking For:

Demonstrable experience in AI Automation/Integration role. Hands-on expertise with natural language processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs). Experience using Python, OpenAI, LangChain, and vector databases. Familiarity with automation platforms like n8n, Zapier, or similar. Solid understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design practical AI solutions with business outcomes in mind. Excellent communication skills – able to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage projects independently in a hybrid or remote environment. Experience working in agile environments and iterating based on user feedback.

Preferred Skills:

Background in deploying AI/ML models to production (MLOps). Experience using cloud platforms such as Azure. Interest or experience in building autonomous agents or internal AI assistants.

Why Join?

Competitive salary, pension and attractive benefits package. Work on cutting-edge AI projects that have immediate business impact. A collaborative, forward-thinking, and experimentation-friendly work environment. Opportunities for continuous learning and career development.
