Job summary

Bosch UK invites undergraduates to join the 12-month Undergraduate Placement Year 2027 as an AI Business Solutions Intern based in Coventry. You will help develop and deploy practical AI and automation solutions across Central Sales, translating business problems into usable solutions with measurable benefits.

The role covers concept discovery through rapid prototyping, user testing, and controlled deployment, within Bosch-approved tech and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Currently studying toward a degree in a quantitative subject (e.g., CS, Data Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrable interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies.
• Experience of programming, automation or data analysis from uni, placements or personal projects.
• Good communication, presentation and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly develop proofs of concept using Bosch-approved AI, automation and data tech for Central Sales problems.
• Define requirements, success metrics, data needs and expected benefits with process owners.
• Extend proofs of concept into scalable solutions adopted across Central Sales and Bosch UK.
• Test solutions with users, gather feedback and refine usability and reliability before deployment.
• Measure and communicate outcomes (time saved, quality, automation) to stakeholders.
• Engage Central Sales stakeholders to identify and prioritise AI use cases.
• Create user guidance and training content for rollout across Central Sales.
• Document objectives, data inputs, ownership and support arrangements.
