Job Title: AI Solutions Engineer (.NET Focus)

Location: Remote (UK/EU Preferred) with occasional face-to-face meetings

About the Role:

We are seeking an AI Solutions Engineer with a strong focus on the .NET stack. You will own the entire solution delivery lifecycle—from collaborating with product managers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on requirements, to leveraging AI productivity tools for rapid development and deployment. You'll be hands-on across the stack—front-end, back-end, and database—and have a strong grasp of DevOps best practices to deliver secure, cost-effective solutions in the Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Definition & Stakeholder Collaboration
   Engage with product managers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs.
   Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable technical tasks and product milestones.
2. AI-Driven Development
   Use AI-based productivity tools (e.g., code generation, automated testing frameworks) to accelerate .NET software development.
   Remain current with AI techniques, integrating them into workflows to boost speed, quality, and innovation.
3. .NET Full-Stack Implementation
   Design and build high-quality, scalable back-end solutions using .NET Core.
   Optionally utilize frameworks like .NET MAUI (for cross-platform applications) and integrate modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js) if needed.
   Ensure responsiveness, performance, and maintainability throughout the codebase.
4. Database Expertise
   Work with at least one relational database (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB) to store, manage, and optimize data.
   Implement best practices for performance and reliability.
5. DevOps & Cloud Deployment
   Implement DevOps best practices (CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring) to streamline delivery.
   Deploy solutions in a cost-effective and secure way, leveraging the most suitable Cloud services.
6. Technical Leadership & Continuous Improvement
   Serve as a subject matter expert in AI-driven .NET development.
   Promote a culture of innovation by researching emerging tools, technologies, and practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. .NET Proficiency: Solid experience with .NET Core (C#), plus familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a bonus.
2. AI/ML Tools Familiarity: Hands-on experience leveraging AI-driven tools for code generation, testing, and/or analytics.
3. Database Management: Proficiency in at least one major relational database (preference for open-source where applicable).
4. Cloud & DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD workflows, containerization, and security best practices.
5. Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to translate ambiguous challenges into tangible prototypes and products, iterating based on stakeholder input.
