Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society is seeking a specialist AI solution architect to design, develop and deploy enterprise-grade AI capabilities across large language models, RAG, and automation workflows.

You will collaborate with data science and product teams, assess data readiness, monitor model performance, and guide best practices within the Microsoft AI ecosystem while mentoring AI Product Developers and AI Design Analysts.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise AI solutions across domains.
• Strong knowledge of generative/agentic AI and data-driven intelligence.
• Hands-on with Microsoft AI ecosystem technologies.
• Ability to translate business needs into AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced AI capabilities with LLMs, agentic architectures, and RAG.
• Support data science and model optimisation, assess data readiness and model performance.
• Guide solution patterns and best practices for enterprise AI architectures.
• Mentor AI Product Developers and AI Design Analysts with hands-on problem solving.
