Job summary

Chubb in the City of London seeks an experienced business analyst/PM to join the AI Business Solutions group, transforming operations globally and delivering meaningful business impact across the value chain. You will leverage digital capabilities to tackle diverse problems and help shape the operating model.

The role involves documenting as-is processes, bridging between business, SMEs, executives, and delivery teams, defining requirements, and supporting AI model validation and ongoing

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work with geographically dispersed technical teams to deliver requirements and solutions.
• Proven track record delivering business solutions for strategic projects balancing cost, quality and time.
• Understands industry best practices and applies appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Awareness of KPIs associated with large-scale projects.
• Solid understanding of SDLC lifecycle and delivery methods.
• Able to structure high-level and detailed business requirements clearly.
• Strong business process modelling skills.
• Able to prioritise and manage workloads within tight timescales and budgets.
• Experience mapping as-is/to-be landscapes and conducting gap analysis.
• Experience in business change, rationalisation and transformation; proactive and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Document and analyse as-is processes (functional specs and user stories), map to-to-be processes aligned to future operating model.
• Liaise between business and a team of SMEs, C-suite, Experience Designers, Product Managers, Developers and QA.
• Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders during workshops.
• Collaborate with teammates on analysis and design of complex business applications using latest technologies.
• Create and review test cases, coordinate with stakeholders and end users for UAT.
• Involved in testing AI models ensuring accuracy and performance as required by business.
• Contribute to ongoing solution design and post-transition support.
• Work across multiple projects or smaller pieces when workload is light to support AI function.

Job description

This role will be to work as part of the AI Business Solutions group and join our fast-paced, high-energy team responsible for transforming the way Chubb operates globally and deliver meaningful business impact across the value chain.

This position offers the opportunity to leverage the entire spectrum of digital capabilities towards solving a wide variety of business problems as well as unique challenges in problem-solving. The focus is on applying a combination of industry-standard practices and innovative ideas to transform the way Chubb operates fundamentally.

Responsibilities

• Document and analyse as-is processes (functional specs and user stories), making recommendations for improvement by mapping to-be business processes that align to our future operating model
• Liaise between the business and a team consisting of SMEs, C-suite executives, Experience Designers, Product Managers, Developers and QA
• Coordinate and collaborate with all project stakeholders during workshops
• Collaborate with teammates on the analysis and design of complex business applications using the latest technologies
• Create and review test cases, and coordinate with business stakeholders, end users for user acceptance
• Involved in testing the various AI models and ensuring it meets the business expectations in terms of accuracy and performance
• Contribute to the design of the on-going solutions and user support required after transition
• Work across multiple projects or smaller pieces of work when workflow is lighter, to help support the AI function

• Sound understanding of SDLC lifecycle and the various methods of delivery
• A sound analytical mind and able to clearly structure and effectively communicate high level and detailed business requirements
• Strong business process modelling skills
• The ability to prioritise and manage workloads within tight timescales and budgetary constraints
• Experience of mapping out ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ landscape and undertaking gap analysis
• Experience in business change, rationalisation and transformation; Ability to work independently, proactively and with versatility in responding to changing circumstances
• An eye for detail, excellent communication skills and be able to interrogate reported information and challenge sources where inconsistencies are found
