Job summary

IC Resources Recruitment in Oxford is seeking an AI System Architect to design and architect systems or chips for ML training and inference, focusing on performance and energy efficiency. You will conduct performance modeling, demonstrate fluency in hardware-software integration, and influence product direction through data-driven specifications.

This is a full-time role in a pioneering startup developing an AI accelerator for data centers, offering equity options and flexible working

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML models and architectures.
• Experience in AI hardware startups or major AI hardware teams.
• Familiarity with compiler stacks and their impact on hardware design.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect systems or chips for ML training and inference.
• Perform performance modeling (roofline, bandwidth, cycle estimation).
• Demonstrate integration of hardware and software, ISA design and runtimes.
• Influence product direction through data-driven specifications.
