Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Execution (be the AI Security expert and technical pathfinder): - Lead with hands-on expertise to deliver high-impact technical engagements—including demos, workshops, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and pilots—that showcase the value of Microsoft’s AI Security solutions through deep technical proficiency and real-world application. - Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft’s cutting-edge Security solutions, enabling secure AI adoption and deployment—from custom-built AI applications, agents, and models to the scalable use of ready-to-deploy AI solutions. - Drive technical decision-making and unblock complex sales scenarios in collaboration with STU/ATU teams, while guiding customers through the business and technical decision process for Microsoft Defender for Cloud and broader security scenarios. - Translate customer use cases into repeatable IP, scalable best practices, and actionable product feedback to influence engineering and go-to-market strategies. - Obtain and apply deep competitive insights (e.g. PANW, Wiz, CrowdStrike, AWS, GCP) to shape win strategies, takeout plans, and technical differentiation. - Demonstrate deep expertise in Azure, AWS, and GCP infrastructure, with a strong command of Microsoft Security requirements for posture and exposure management. - Exhibit technical breadth by designing secure, scalable architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, and technical depth through hands-on experience in configuring and implementing enterprise-grade cloud security solutions. - Partner with and coach account teams on deal shaping, winning use cases, and competitive strategy; actively contribute to DWR and Win Room discussions to accelerate deal velocity and customer success. Customer & Field Engagement - Partner with account teams to shape deals, coach on winning use cases, and support DWR/Winroom discussions. - Lead handoffs to Customer Success or Partners to ensure deployment, usage, and adoption. - Build and nurture communities across customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. - Help shape the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for innovative and emerging Secure AI solutions by providing actionable feedback to your Business Architect and engineering teams, highlighting real-world product requirements and sales blockers encountered in the field. Thought Leadership & Enablement - Create and share thought leadership content (e.g. blogs, whitepapers, conference talks). - Mentor peers and field teams, contributing to readiness and capability building. - Embrace a growth mindset—learn, adapt, and share knowledge continuously. Qualifications (Text Only)
QualificationsRequired - 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related experience in a security sale and/or technical sales roles - 3+ years of experience with securely architecting and deployingsecurityworkloads - Experienced in Cloud Infrastructure on Azure, AWS or GCP or AI technologies Preferred 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR master’s degree in business administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field technology-related sales experience. Experience influencing without authority and driving change across virtual teams. Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. High technical aptitude and hands-on experience working with enterprise security solutions and programs, especially Microsoft’s cybersecurity solutions. Knowledge of competitors to Microsoft’s security products. Experience developing strategies and architectures for securing cloud workloads and secure application development. Experience and direct responsibility for developing security architectures for companies and/or governments and for overseeing the implementation and execution of said strategies.
