AI Security Architect

Start: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: hybrid, 2-days on site in Reading, Berkshire
Pay: Inside IR35, paying up to £515/day


We are seeking a skilled Application Enterprise Architect to lead the strategic roadmap for Branch and Teller Applications. This is a high-profile contract position, reporting to the COO, focused on ensuring technological alignment, scalability, and integration during mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the application roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Assess current architecture and propose innovative, scalable solutions.
- Establish and enforce enterprise architecture standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead technology integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver solutions.
- Provide bi-weekly updates to the COO on progress, risks, and recommendations.

Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in banking and financial services.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices, and banking regulations.
- Proven leadership and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Branch and Teller Applications and M&A integrations.

Desirable:
- Experience in managing technology integrations during mergers and acquisitions.
