Job summary

ElevenLabs in London is seeking a Data Scientist to own the datasets and evaluation workflows that support AI Safety. You will transform real-world product data into reliable, structured datasets for training and evaluating models, and build the infrastructure to continuously assess model performance in production.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience turning real-world datasets into training/evaluation data.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for data workflows and analysis.
• Ability to translate safety guidelines into scalable data processes.

Responsibilities

• Own safety datasets end-to-end: collection, cleaning, labelling, quality control, versioning, and readiness for training and evaluating.
• Translate safety policy into clear labelling and evaluation criteria with policy specialists.
• Design and manage labelling processes, including onboarding and supervising external contributors.
• Build evaluation workflows for models in production using real-world data to track performance and surface issues.
• Develop Python/SQL pipelines and tooling to speed up data work and ensure reproducibility.
