Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a Project Manager to support AI research programmes within a leading AI research organisation. You will ensure projects are structured, prioritised and delivered while collaborating with Research, Engineering, Product, Legal and Policy teams.

You will translate strategy into project plans, drive execution, manage priorities, track progress with metrics and communicate to stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Management, Programme Management or Technical Project Management.
• Hands-on exposure to Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Recommendation Systems, Pattern Recognition or Data Mining.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Track record of delivering projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional teams to communicate research plans, progress and results.
• Translate strategy into structured project plans and drive execution.
• Manage project priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks and mitigations.
• Track project progress and provide clear status updates and metrics to stakeholders.
• Identify and remove blockers to support successful project delivery.
• Manage interdependencies across projects and ensure key objectives remain on track.
• Analyse data and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support teams through changes resulting from research projects and new initiatives.
