Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Data and AI Research Governance Coordinator to support governance across NHS clinical informatics and AI research projects. The role focuses on ensuring projects meet governance standards without direct handling of clinical data.

The post requires developing governance processes and ensuring compliance with UK policy frameworks, data protection and related guidance, across a broad research portfolio.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Postgraduate research qualification.
• GCP trained.
• Experience of working in a clinical research governance environment (NHS, University or industry).
• Experience of working with data driven and/or AI research.
• Knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection in research.

Responsabilités

• Provide governance support across NHS AI research projects.
• Ensure compliance with the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research.
• Assist in developing governance processes and standards.
• Coordinate with Ethics Committees, funders and external agencies.
