SmartSearch is seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to shape AI-enabled products from discovery to launch and ongoing optimisation. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, UX, Compliance and Commercial teams to identify high-value AI opportunities, define outcomes and build measurable business cases.

Qualifications

• Proven Product Management experience within a B2B SaaS or technology-led environment.
• Experience defining product vision, strategy, roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Strong product discovery skills including customer research and hypothesis validation.
• Commercial awareness and experience developing business cases or assessing investment opportunities.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer and business outcomes.
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery across Product, Engineering, UX and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and evolving direction as evidence and technology develop.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value opportunities for AI across customer-facing products and internal operations.
• Lead customer, user and stakeholder discovery to understand problems and outcomes.
• Translate insight into problem statements, hypotheses, opportunities and measurable outcomes.
• Assess opportunities using value, strategic fit, feasibility, risk and data readiness.
• Define and maintain the product vision, strategy and roadmap for AI-enabled capabilities.
• Build evidence-based business cases with benefits, investment needs and success measures.
• Prioritise initiatives based on value and strategic alignment.
• Ensure the AI portfolio remains coherent with wider priorities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data, UX and Compliance from experimentation through production.
• Translate opportunities into clear outcomes, requirements and delivery plans.
• Support iterative delivery with informed trade-offs by learning and risk.
• Balance innovation with responsible AI, governance and data protection.
• Plan for product adoption, readiness and go-to-market activity.
• Define and monitor adoption, KPIs and performance metrics.
• Use data and feedback to guide ongoing optimisation.
