Job summary

You will lead AI initiatives across production lines, aligning with central digital strategy and delivering measurable productivity gains.

The role requires expertise in GCP Vertex AI, ML model deployment, and strong data analytics, with a focus on governance and risk management within a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in project management and delivery.
• Experience managing projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and deploying production-grade AI/ML models.
• Strong understanding of MLOps principles, including automation, CI/CD, and cloud cost optimization.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization to map data pipelines and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• AI Project Leadership & End-to-End Delivery from ideation to deployment across core plant areas.
• Technical Stewardship & Data Innovation: design and deploy AI/ML models on GCP/Vertex AI and build AI-ready architectures.
• Stakeholder Management & Digital Change: collaborate with plant customers, executives, and suppliers and support legacy system transitions.
• Governance, Risk & Financial Management: ensure Responsible AI, EU AI Act compliance, cyber security, and manage CAPEX/OPEX/NRC.
