Job summary

Hiire.co is seeking an exceptional AI Platform Engineer to turn LLM agents, quantitative models and complex datasets into reliable, production-grade products and workflows. The role focuses on building infrastructure, APIs and backend systems for AI agents and models to operate in production.

You will own agent runtime infrastructure, backend services, LLM integrations and security, with emphasis on observability and scalable, low-latency design.

Qualifications

• Backend/platform engineering background with production systems
• Production-grade Python experience required
• Strong API design capabilities (FastAPI preferred)
• Experience integrating LLMs / model APIs
• Agent frameworks / model orchestration knowledge
• Observability, logging and production monitoring
• Distributed or event-driven systems
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, messaging or caching
• Some React/TypeScript experience for internal tooling
• Finance domain experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build agent runtime infrastructure and orchestration
• Develop backend services and APIs connecting models, data and apps
• Integrate LLMs and model endpoints
• Implement authentication, permissions and security
• Establish logging, monitoring and observability
• Track usage, latency, cost and errors
• Review workflows, audit trails and human-in-the-loop systems
• Develop internal AI tools used across teams
• Ensure production reliability and scalability of the AI platform
