Job summary

Reed in Sheffield is seeking an AI Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise AI platforms, intelligent agents, and supporting infrastructure. You will combine hands-on delivery with strategic input to ensure scalable, secure AI solutions that align with organisational goals.

This role requires strong Python development, experience with Docker and Kubernetes, vector databases, and AWS, plus collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive adoption, governance, and cost optimisation

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong Python development skills and REST API integration.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise AI infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Develop AI agents, copilots, and RAG applications leveraging internal data.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance for AI platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
