Mercor is seeking expert philosophers to author and review high-quality academic assessment content for an AI research initiative. You will craft and verify rigorous philosophy questions, evaluate solution quality, and contribute to gold-standard benchmarks used to advance AI capabilities.

You will work asynchronously, remotely, with a commitment of 10+ hours per week, and you may tackle either Question Authoring or Question Verification tasks depending on assignment.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in philosophy or doctoral candidate with strong depth.
• Excellent command of written English and ability to express complex ideas clearly.
• Proven ability to author rigorous, self-contained questions and verify them for accuracy.

Aufgaben

• Author original philosophy questions testing deep conceptual understanding.
• Rate difficulty as Medium, Hard, or Expert for each item.
• Provide 1 correct answer and 9 plausible distractors.
• Write step-by-step Chain-of-Thought solutions with reasoning.
• Supply 1–5 academic references per question.
• For verification tasks, flag clarity or solvability issues and justify edits.
