Job summary

SR2 REC LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced AI/ML Technical Lead to drive the engineering delivery of an advanced computer vision and machine learning platform for a high-profile defence technology programme.

You will lead a team of AI/ML and MLOps engineers, shape architecture, oversee scalable training, inference and deployment pipelines, and ensure delivery within secure government contexts. DV clearance sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading AI/ML delivery for production systems.
• Strong background in computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning.
• Hands-on Python development with PyTorch.
• Experience deploying ML models through CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.
• Proven leadership or principal engineering experience and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a team of AI/ML and MLOps Engineers.
• Lead the design, optimisation and deployment of computer vision and deep learning systems.
• Oversee scalable ML training, inference and deployment pipelines.
• Guide technical architecture, engineering standards and best practices.
• Work with stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into existing infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers and ensure successful delivery.
