We’re looking for an AI / ML Software Engineer with commercial experience and exposure to AI and Machine learning models.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust software systems while exploring the exciting intersection of software engineering and intelligent technologies. If you’ve worked alongside data science teams, contributed to ML pipelines, or are keen to grow your skills in AI, we’d love to hear from you.

Our client is an AI-driven company at the forefront of behavioural biometrics. It is building systems that understand how people behave, move, and interact with technology to enhance security, identity verification, and user experience.

They are looking for an AI / ML Software Engineer (ideally Full Stack or Back End) to join the growing team and help bring these intelligent systems to life. You’ll be key in designing, developing, and deploying products powered by cutting-edge AI.

What You'll Be Doing as the AI / ML Software Engineer:

  1. Develop full-stack applications that integrate advanced AI models and behavioural data
  2. Build intuitive and responsive front-end interfaces for real-time biometric insights
  3. Architect and maintain secure, scalable APIs and backend systems
  4. Work closely with our AI engineers to support and deploy ML models into production
  5. Build and maintain robust AWS pipelines, APIs, and end-to-end integrations
  6. Focus on efficiency — making the delivery of models faster, leaner, and smarter
  7. Collaborate with a team that brings together AI thinking and systems design
  8. Contribute to code testing, code reviews, and software best practices
  9. Develop solutions that run both in the cloud and on-device
  10. Drive integration of AI into real-world applications (think: user-facing apps, APIs, embedded systems)

What we’re looking for:

  1. Ideally, 3+ years of software engineering experience, but please note we are flexible on this
  2. Experience supporting an AI product / working with
  3. Strong backend skills using Node.js, Python, or similar
  4. Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  5. A solid understanding of deploying and maintaining production-grade systems
  6. Comfortable working with AI/ML teams, and familiar with deploying or supporting ML models

You might be a great fit if you:

  1. Come from a strong software engineering background
  2. Have supported the integration of AI/ML models into production systems
  3. Understand cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred — but experience in GCP or Azure is great too)
  4. Know how to work with pipelines, APIs, STKs, and full-stack architectures
  5. Have hands-on experience with deployment to devices or embedded systems
  6. Enjoy solving problems from a systems-thinking perspective
  7. Are passionate about improving code quality and delivery pipelines
  8. Believe in collaboration, continuous learning, and writing clean, efficient code
