Placements24 is seeking an AI/ML Security Engineer to join our client’s team in Randburg, Gauteng. You will identify vulnerabilities, implement robust security measures, and safeguard AI models and data throughout the development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers, perform risk analyses, and stay ahead of threats such as data poisoning and adversarial attacks, contributing to secure architectures and compliant security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity with a focus on AI/ML security, secure software development, or vulnerability assessment.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and AI attack vectors.
• Experience with security tools and techniques for identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in AI/ML models, algorithms, and infrastructure.
