Job Description:

The EU Public Policy Subject Expert team provides cross-cutting policy advice on key policy topics.Responsibilities - Monitoring Public Policy developments across Europe related to artificial intelligence; provide updates and strategic advice on European AI/ML public policy landscape to internal XFN teams. - Leading on the development of public policy positions and consultation responses.- Partner with experts to further TikTok's understanding of, and response to, AI public policy issues, for example through driving research.- In coordination with local policy teams, represent TikTok's mission, values and principles to external stakeholders, such as governments, civil society and media.- Engaging and organising external outreach with relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications- 3-5 years working on AI public policy issues- Deep understanding of, and expertise in, the key policy trends across the AI/ML landscape; - Superb written and oral communication skills; - Experience engaging with external stakeholders; - The ability to work in a dynamic environment; Preferred Qualifications- Ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical audiences - Experience advising on legislative/regulatory proposals on AI is a plus.
