Job summary

IC Resources Recruitment is seeking an AI Kernel Engineer for a well-funded AI systems company in the Rest of UK. You will develop low-level kernels and optimize AI workloads across the hardware and software stack.

You will profile workloads, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with semiconductor partners, server manufacturers, and cloud providers to push performance, throughput, and latency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field.
• Experience optimizing workloads on GPUs, AI accelerators, FPGAs or similar hardware.
• Strong skills in performance analysis, profiling and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Optimize AI workloads across GPUs and accelerators.
• Develop low-level kernels for ML applications.
• Profile, benchmark, and analyze system performance.
• Identify bottlenecks across hardware and software.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to improve performance.
• Contribute to AI benchmarking and evaluations.
• Explore accelerator programming and AI-assisted optimization.
