Job summary

Back To Work is seeking an AI & IT Security Apprentice in the East Midlands to gain hands-on experience protecting systems and data while exploring how AI tools can enhance security and efficiency. • Help with routine checks and updates to ensure machines, devices, and software meet security standards.
• Assist in managing user accounts and access permissions, including staff working on production systems.
• Contribute to creating and updating security guidelines for both office and factory environments.
• Work with IT and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues.
• Learn about protecting operational technology (OT) and connected devices used in manufacturing.
• Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, AI developments, and technology trends affecting industrial systems.
• Assist with the use of AI-powered security tools to help identify patterns, anomalies, and potential cyber threats.
• Support the development and testing of AI-driven automation processes that improve security monitoring and reporting.
