Job summary

Computacenter PLC is seeking a skilled professional to support pre-sales by developing technical data centre solutions. You will design layouts for AI/HPC environments, cabling strategies, and power/cooling infrastructure, producing BoMs and SOWs for proposals.

You will review designs, maintain installation-ready documentation, and coordinate with logistics, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure including AI/HPC environments.
• Ability to interpret physical and logical infrastructure designs.
• Experience producing cost models, Bills of Materials and Statements of Work.
• Experience creating delivery-ready documentation and installation maps.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales by developing technical solutions with customers and teams.
• Design data centre layouts, cabling strategies, routeways and infrastructure solutions.
• Provide guidance on power, cooling and environmental requirements.
• Develop cost models, BoMs and Statements of Work for proposals.
• Review designs and BoMs to identify risks or gaps.
• Produce installation-ready documentation and P2P cabling maps.
• Collaborate with logistics, vendors and delivery teams for project execution.
• Support projects through installation and commissioning and resolve design challenges.
• Build relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders through the project lifecycle.
