Job summary

HSBC is seeking an AI Technical Lead via Archer to drive the technical design and delivery of AI governance capabilities across the Group. You will build AI-powered applications with LLMs, AI agents, and knowledge graphs, and integrate solutions with HSBC’s platforms and data products.

You will lead, review, and guide engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and auditable AI deployments with strong governance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI engineering experience with production use of LLMs and AI agents.
• Strong software engineering capability with Python and API development.
• Proven technical leadership in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience in solution architecture and systems integration.
• Experience with Responsible AI governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and delivery of AI governance capabilities.
• Build and deploy AI-powered applications using LLMs and AI agents.
• Develop the AI governance knowledge graph and semantic model.
• Integrate AI solutions with HSBC’s technology ecosystem and data products.
• Ensure production quality, security, privacy, reliability, and auditability.
