Job summary

Source Group International is hiring an AI-focused Full Stack Engineer for a London-based, 6-month engagement, onsite three days per week. You'll join a newly formed innovation team building AI-powered tools and platforms used across the business.

Work spans React front-end and Python back-end, integrating Generative AI and LLMs, designing APIs, and collaborating with product managers, data scientists and stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.

Ai Full Stack Engineer
6 months initially
London - 3 days a week onsite

We're partnering with a leading global investment management organisation undergoing a significant AI-led transformation across its technology estate. This is an opportunity to join a newly formed innovation team focused on building cutting-edge AI-powered products, tools and platforms that will be used by thousands of employees across the business.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of software engineering, data and artificial intelligence, helping to design and deliver scalable applications that leverage the latest advances in Generative AI and Large Language Models.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing modern full stack applications using React and Python.
• Building AI-powered tools, assistants and workflow automation solutions.
• Integrating Large Language Models and Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Working closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists and business stakeholders to turn ideas into production-ready solutions.
• Designing and consuming APIs and microservices within a cloud-native environment.
• Contributing to architectural decisions, engineering standards and best practices.
• Continuously exploring emerging AI technologies and identifying opportunities to drive innovation.

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript and modern front-end development.
• Solid backend engineering experience using Python.
• Hands-on experience developing AI-enabled applications.
• Exposure to technologies such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, AI Agents or similar frameworks.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and a passion for building scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Candidates with experience in Asset Management or Investment banking will be prefered.
