Job summary

RSG Plc is recruiting two AI Engineers to design and develop an agentic AI solution within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, focusing on finalising architecture and implementation plans before full build. You will join a capable team, reporting to a Technical Lead, and contribute to scalable production-ready AI agents.

The roles require strong C# and/or Python development, with preference for Foundry experience; remote work from the UK is supported.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents.
• Experience with Azure cloud architectures and enterprise AI patterns.
• Leadership or senior dev experience is a plus.

AI Engineers (x2) - Microsoft Foundry Agentic AI C#

Contract: 3-Month Rolling Contract
Day Rate: Up to £750 per day
Start Dates: 2nd November
Location: Remote (UK based)

We're supporting a leading technology consultancy looking to engage two AI Engineers to support the technical design and development of an agentic AI solution within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Working alongside an established Technical Lead, you'll initially focus on finalising the solution architecture, technical design and implementation plan, with the potential to progress into the full build phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI agents using Microsoft Foundry Agent Service or equivalent frameworks.
• Contribute to technical architecture, solution design and implementation planning.
• Develop agent orchestration, tool integrations and automated workflows.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs and data sources.
• Collaborate with the Technical Lead to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience building and deploying AI agents, ideally using Microsoft Foundry Agent Service.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangGraph or AutoGen.
• Strong Python and/or C# development skills, with C# particularly valuable for candidates without direct Foundry experience.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services and enterprise AI architectures.
• Understanding of agent orchestration, LLM integration and production deployment.
• For the senior position, experience leading development activities and contributing to technical design.

Direct Microsoft Foundry Agent Service experience is strongly preferred, although engineers with proven agent‑building experience and strong C# skills will also be considered.
