Job summary

ConnectedSolutions is seeking an AI Engineer for a London-based 1-year contract, extended if successful. The role focuses on building Data, AI Analytics and agentic AI solutions by collaborating with business and technology teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AI/ML, strong Python skills, and experience with RAG or LangGraph. Immediate availability in the UK is preferred and regulatory/governance exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in AI engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and data preprocessing.
• Experience building RAG, LangGraph, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Exposure to Knowledge Graphs and feature engineering is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting governance or regulatory initiatives is advantageous.

About the role

Partnering with a Leading Financial Services Organization, we are seeking an AI Engineer (1-Year Contract, Extend/Perm) to build and deliver Data, AI Analytics and Agentic AI solutions, working closely with business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and GenAI solutions using modern LLM frameworks.
• Build and enhance AI applications leveraging Feature Engineering, Graph Solutions, and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Support AI solutions for compliance, governance, risk, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor, optimise, and maintain AI models and applications in production environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or a related field, ideally from start-ups.
• Demonstrated expertise in Python, leveraging libraries and data preprocessing.
• Experience building RAG, LangGraph, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Exposure to Knowledge Graphs, Feature Engineering, and Feature-Engine is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting governance, or regulatory-related initiatives is advantageous.
• Immediately available or on short notice in UK is preferred.
